ABOUT PROJECT

The project “Legends, a path to more attractive tourist destination” aims at improving the touristic attractiveness of the targeted area (Dolj, Olt, Mehedinti, Montana, Vidin and Vratsa) by identifying, saving, preserving and promoting inestimable pieces of immaterial heritage, local legends, with the goal of improving the sustainable use of natural heritage and resources and cultural heritage.

ABOUT PROGRAMME

The Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria Programe is an EU funded Programme (from the European Regional Development Fund-ERDF).

The programme goal is to develop the border area between the two countries by financing joint projects.

Objectives

The project proposes three specific objectives (SO) to promote more sustainable use of Dolj, Olt, Mehedinti, Vidin, Vratsa and Montana districts natural heritage and resources and cultural heritage, thus also improving the tourism in the eligible area.
